Prices
The product group includes cultural events, such as concerts and theatre performances, exhibitions and festivals, corporate meetings, seminars and workshops – as well as trade fairs and conferences. In addition, political events such as debates are included – as well as sports events and tournaments.
An event certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel meets ambitious environmental requirements and has taken a holistic approach to its environmental work. The event is reducing its consumption and optimizing its operations, as well as engaging their suppliers in environmental work.
The requirements include:
- Limitation of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, by implementing energy-efficient measures.
- Use of electricity and biofuel instead of fossil fuels.
- Reduction of climate impact from transportation.
- Use of cups with reduced environmental impact – and other disposable items meet strict requirements.
- Serving of food with a reduced environmental footprint, including a variety of organic and vegetarian options.
- Reduction of consumption in general and stimulating reuse of decorations.
- Limitation of harmful and unwanted chemicals in general cleaning and dishwashing by using ecolabelled cleaning products.
- Involvement of staff and suppliers in the environmental work.

| Hourly fee for time spend on extra case processing for larger events with more than one venue and/or two catering services, changes for an event or for several events from the same event organizer. An event organizer can certify several events in one license. | |

| For the first 1-30.000 guests | 0,10 € for each guests |
| For the 30.001-75.000 guests | 0,06 € for each guests |
| For the 75.001-150.000 guests | 0,04 € for each guests |
| For the >150.000 guests | 0,02 € for each guests |
| Minimum fee | 2.232 € |
| However, never less than 223 € for each event communicated in a year. If there are no events planned in a year, there is no fee charged. |

* Guests are calculated as a total based on number of guests each day. Guests don’t include volunteers, employees, artists, speakers and press etc.
** Where audits requires more than one day away from the office including travelling, Nordic Ecolabelling can invoice an additional fee of 1,115 € per extra day. Other extraordinary costs induced by the audit can also be invoiced the applicant.
*** The renewal fee only applies if the application has been signed and submitted before end of the validity of the licence. Else the normal application fee will apply.
**** Administrative tasks that takes less than 1 hour will not be invoiced.
